Fuerteventura Airport’s only business lounge, the Jable VIP Lounge, is located airside between Gates 5 and 7. It offers a clean, functional space with seating areas, a buffet zone, and a standout outdoor terrace. Facilities include charging points, flight information screens, and indoor restrooms. Food and drinks are sufficient yet straightforward. The lounge is essentially self-service, supported by friendly staff handling admissions and upkeep. Overall, we rate the lounge 3.5 stars for its comfort, convenience, and especially its terrace, making it a solid and affordable place to relax before departure.

Fuerteventura Airport (FUE) has just one business lounge, the Jable VIP Lounge. It is located airside before passport control, on the same level as the departure gates, between Gates 5 and 7. Clear signage makes it easy to find after security. For Schengen flights, you typically won’t need to go through passport control at all after visiting the lounge.
The lounge is a practical choice for holiday travellers who want a calm place to relax, enjoy a light bite, and charge their devices before boarding. “The biggest plus is the combination of an indoor lounge and an outdoor terrace, which matches the island atmosphere. Our Jable Lounge Experience
We visited the VIP Jable Lounge at Fuerteventura Airport in November 2025 before our flight and entered with our Priority Pass. Below, we share what it’s like in practice: how easy it is to find, the space's feel, what’s available to eat and drink, and how the service works.
If you don’t have a Priority Pass membership, you may still be able to enter with Mastercard Airport Experiences / LoungeKey, depending on your card, or by purchasing a lounge pass in advance through services such as Lounge Pass. The lounge also accepts DragonPass.
Finding the Lounge
After security, we walked through the duty-free area, turned left when reaching the departures hall, and followed the signs toward the smaller gates. The lounge is on the same level as the departure area, so there’s no need to change floors. After a short walk, we found the lounge conveniently located between Gates 5 and 7.
Good signage and a gate-level location make this lounge stress-free to reach.
First Impression
The lounge’s reception is located on the terrace. Our check-in was quick and smooth.
We quickly noticed that the lounge is essentially centred around the terrace and arranged as one open space, thoughtfully divided into three distinct zones. Near the indoor entrance, there’s a small lobby area with a magazine table and storage lockers. Further inside, the layout transitions into a buffet and dining area, with a more relaxed seating corner for unwinding with a drink.
The overall feel is simple and functional rather than luxurious. Still, the zoning helps the lounge feel more structured than a typical single-room space.
Food and Drinks
During our visit, the Jable VIP Lounge offered a selection of both hot and cold food, though the overall quality was best described as average. It was sufficient for a light meal, but nothing particularly stood out.
The hot buffet offered a basic selection, including rice, chicken, and potatoes. Cold options featured salads, sandwiches, yoghurt, juice, and small snacks such as sweets. There was also a fresh juice machine, which sounded promising but was empty during our visit.
Drinks were mostly self-service. Soft drinks were available, and alcohol was also self-served, including wine and beer. We didn’t see any sparkling wine at first, but later noticed in our photos that the lounge also offers cava.
The buffet covers the basics, but don’t expect a “food highlight” lounge experience.
Terrace, Facilities, and Comfort
The terrace is one of the lounge’s standout features, offering fresh air and extra space when the indoor area feels crowded. A nice touch is that the terrace has its own fridge, making it easy to grab a cold drink without heading back inside. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t warm during our visit, so most guests chose to stay indoors.
Inside, the lounge offers a TV and flight information screens, making it easy to keep track of boarding. Power sockets and USB ports are available, which is essential for modern travellers. Another practical advantage is that the restroom is located inside the lounge, so there’s no need to leave the space during your visit. We found no showers.
The outdoor terrace is the star of this lounge, especially on warm and sunny days.
Services
The lounge has free, reliable Wi-Fi. Charging sockets are widely available, and you read printed magazines. The lounge has toilets but no showers. A flight information screen is near the entrance.
Customer Service and Cleanliness
Service at the reception was straightforward and friendly. Most of the lounge operates on a self-service basis, with staff focused on admissions, table clearing, and restocking. Staff cleaned the lopunge well and refilled the catering tables promptly, keeping the space tidy and well-organised. The only downside was that the fresh-juice machine was out of juice during our visit.
Rating
We rate the Jable VIP Lounge at Fuerteventura Airport as a 3.5-star experience. The terrace, convenient charging options, and easy gate-level access make it worth a visit. The food and drink selection is perfectly adequate for a short stop, though the buffet quality sits somewhere in the middle compared with the best Priority Pass lounges we’ve visited.
How to Access VIP Jable Lounge
There are several ways to access Jable VIP Lounge:
- Lounge memberships such as Priority Pass (our method of entry). Some travellers may also have access through programs like DragonPass, depending on their bank card or membership benefits.
- Paid entry via Lounge Pass, which allows travellers to pre-book access online when availability permits.
- Eligible tickets or airline invitations in cases where lounge access is included with a premium fare or a partner airline benefit.
Access is typically limited to a set time window before departure (often up to four hours), and this window may be reduced during peak periods when the lounge is busy.
Bottom Line
We found the Jable VIP Lounge to be a comfortable and practical place to wait for a flight at Fuerteventura Airport. It covers the essentials well, with a calm atmosphere, self-serve drinks, basic food, charging points, and an indoor restroom. The relaxed, holiday-like ambience adds real value, giving the lounge a distinctly “Fuerteventura” feel that sets it apart from many lounges at larger airports.
Jable’s terrace is a real highlight. In this respect, it can feel more pleasant than some fully indoor lounges we’ve reviewed—especially when you want natural light and fresh air rather than another quiet space with artificial lighting or a standard terminal waiting area.
Since the lounge is affordable and offers a pleasant way to end your trip, we recommend it to travellers looking for a calm and comfortable place to wait for their flight.
