Fuerteventura Airport (FUE) has just one business lounge, the Jable VIP Lounge. It’s located airside before passport control, on the same level as the departure gates, between Gates 5 and 7. Thanks to clear signage, finding the lounge after security is quick and straightforward.

The lounge is a practical choice for holiday travellers who want a calm place to sit, enjoy a light bite, and charge their devices before boarding. Its most significant advantage is the combination of an indoor lounge and an outdoor terrace, which perfectly matches the island atmosphere. As Fuerteventura is a favourite destination for holidaymakers, the lounge is designed to feel relaxed and comfortable for travellers heading home after a sunny break.

Our Jable Lounge Experience

We visited the Sala VIP Jable at Fuerteventura Airport in November 2025 before our flight and entered with our Priority Pass. Below, we share what it’s like in practice: how easy it is to find, the feel of the space, what’s available to eat and drink, and how the service works.

If you don’t have Priority Pass, you may still be able to enter with Mastercard Airport Experiences / LoungeKey, depending on your card, or by purchasing a lounge pass in advance through services such as LoungePass. The lounge also accepts DragonPass.

Finding the Lounge

After security, we walked through the duty-free area, turned left when reaching the departures hall, and followed the signs toward the smaller gates. The lounge is on the same level as the departure area, so there’s no need to change floors. After a short walk, we found it conveniently located between Gates 5 and 7.

Good signage and a gate-level location make this lounge stress-free to reach.

First Impression

The lounge is essentially one open space, but it is organised into three clear zones. Near the entrance, there is a small lobby area with a magazine table and storage lockers. дальше inside, the layout splits naturally into a buffet and dining area, plus a more relaxed seating corner designed for unwinding with a drink.

The overall feel is simple and functional rather than luxurious. Still, the zoning helps the lounge feel more structured than a single-room space often does.

Food and Drinks

During our visit, Jable VIP Lounge offered both hot and cold options, but the quality was best described as average. We found enough to make a light meal, yet nothing stood out as particularly memorable.

From the hot buffet, we saw a basic selection such as rice, chicken, and potatoes. Cold items included salads, sandwiches, yoghurt, juice, and small snacks like sweets. There was also a fresh-juice machine, which sounded great in theory, but it was empty during our visit.

Drinks are mostly self-service. Soft drinks are available, and alcohol is offered as self-serve as well, including wine and beer. We did not see sparkling wine.

The buffet covers the basics, but don’t expect a “food highlight” lounge experience.

Terrace, Facilities, and Comfort

The terrace is one of the lounge’s best features. It gives you fresh air and extra space when the indoor area feels busy. A nice detail is that the terrace has its own fridge, which makes it easy to grab a cold drink without going back inside.

Indoors, the lounge provides a TV and a flight information screen, so keeping an eye on boarding is easy. Power sockets and USB ports are available, which is essential for modern travellers. Another practical benefit is that the restroom is inside the lounge, so you don’t need to leave the space mid-visit.

The outdoor terrace is the star of this lounge, especially on warm and sunny days.

Customer Service and Cleanliness

Service is straightforward and efficient. Most of the lounge is self-service, while staff focus on admissions, clearing tables, and refilling items. We noticed that cleaning and restocking happened quickly, which kept the lounge feeling orderly.

Rating

We rate the Jable VIP Lounge at Fuerteventura Airport as a 3-star experience:

★★★☆☆

The terrace, charging options, and easy gate-level location make it worth visiting. The food and drink selection is fine for a short stop, but the buffet quality stays in the middle range compared with the best Priority Pass lounges we have visited.

How to Access the Lounge

There are several ways to access Jable VIP Lounge:

Access is typically limited to a set time window before departure (often up to four hours), and this window may be reduced during peak periods when the lounge is busy.

Bottom Line

We found Jable VIP Lounge to be a comfortable and practical place to wait for a flight at Fuerteventura Airport. It does the essentials well: a calmer space, self-serve drinks, basic food, charging points, and an indoor restroom. The terrace adds genuine value and makes the lounge feel more “Fuerteventura” than a

On the other hand, Jable’s terrace is a big plus. In this sense, it can feel more pleasant than some purely indoor lounges we have reviewed, especially when you want daylight and fresh air rather than another quiet room with artificial lighting.
